Four life-long best friends creating the sound of a freight train coming off the rails…
After years of writing and rewriting songs, BURNLANDS has finally arrived. Taking cues from genre pioneers such as Guns N’ Roses, Lamb of God and Slipknot, BURNLANDS have carved their own niche in the hard rock genre and are looking to pay homage to the great live acts of the 70s and 80s (KISS, Thin Lizzy, Motley Crue) with a modern twist.
Having already worked with Neil D. Kennedy (Boston Manor, Creeper, Milk Teeth), the band are now in the studio recording half a dozen songs to be released throughout 2019. With Decoy Studios’ Rob Sellens engineering and multi award winning mix engineer Cenzo Townshend (Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Florence + The Machine) at the helm, rock is destined for it’s long overdue kick in the ass.
Pairing with the new internet paradigm is where BURNLANDS really thrives – the live stage. Veterans of various acts across a variety of genres, the chance to let loose in a rock and roll setting will be a sight to behold. After years of function performances, the foursome from Southend-on-Sea will be looking to blow audiences away with their first performances of original songs in half a decade.
